Cool!

Whats the smallest pinion, and the biggest pinion I can fit in the stock motor mount?????

I need to get a 4.6 FDR, so I would like something that will mesh with a 47 tooth pinon, but I dont think that will work

But I can/will dremel the stock mount if needed

I just updated my blog with a few pics showing my latest mods.

I just won the latest national race, pretty easily too, so I am very pleased.

A 88t spur with the 47t pinion would give you 4.56. With the 88t you can fit down to 46t pinion, but it will barely mesh.

AWSOME!! Thanks!

So a 89 tooth spur and a 47 tooth pinion will give me 4.62, and thats where I want it

That will mesh for shure?

Thanks guys!

It wont mesh with a 47T pinion without mods. Dont be a butcher and get yourself a new pinion and spur

im using 72T spur and 36 T pinion giving me 4.67

I took a 96 tooth spur, and a 37 tooth pinion and it almost meshed

And that was taking 10 teeth off, im only dropping 7 teeth

What you said doesnt make sense, because your running a 72 tooth spur, and a 36 tooth pinion??? I will run 89/47

That will more then fit.... And reason I am not getting a new pinion is because I cant get one till EARLIEST next tues, and I race tomarow......

I assume you are both using different pitch spur/pinions

48 Pitch spurs and gears are probably easier for getting high rollouts.

69T 48p spur will fit on not sure what pinions will mesh with it though.

Hi guys

Need some help with spool.

I know which parts to order for the version three spool, which diff gear do you use as it doesnt come with one? I currently run a locked ball diff which I know wont work with the spool as I need to have the glued one, is there a part number for it? Im guessing most of you would use the one that came with the front one way which I dont have.

Cheers
Adrian
