Anyone have a picture of Hara's car from the SWR 06 Nats last year? Here is a setup that was suggested for stock asphalt/rubber and he uses the Cyclone S chassis. Want to see what the rest of the car looked like.
Also, since I am running lipos, wouldnt having a little heavier chassiss not that bad of an idea.
Looks good! how'd you get it to be so purple? I know stock turnbuckles are more blue..
and wouldn't it be better to have the transponder closer to the front? especially if the race is decided by milliseconds..?
WOW!
i looked at it and couldnt figure out why it looked more purple then mine lol haha
and if you think about it, if you go over the timing tower, it doesnt count the lap till the car/transponder gets that far over the line for it to count, so if u start and the transponder is in the back, then the lap wont start till its way back there lol
it took me some thinking, idk that thats correct, but seems so
It looks vivid, cause the lighting in the room was such that the colour looked brighter, that's all.
The turnbuckles have been replaced from std titanium, to aluminum, thus the anodising is exactly the same as the rest aluminum parts and they are a bit lighter, but also more fragile.
AMB location is fine.. no big deal for a few centimeters.. I am not that good anyway, I don't think that position will cost me any places.
Besides.. what better excuse than say, I came 3rd cause the AMB was located on my car at the rear end!
im surprised, one thing i found is that you can acheive full lock on the steering with less end point compared to my mre
I think youll find the reason for that is the steering arm which sits on the servo saver hits the bulkheads. When setting your car up you should make sure that the sterring dual rates are turned down so that the servo is not strained everytime you go to full lock.
PS. Are we related or something :P

well if you mean the IFMAR ISTC Worlds 2004, it was 19 year old Marc Rheinard taking the crown.
Um, no meatball...I mean what I wrote!:
Here are some of the top races the Pro 4 has won:
2005 DHI Cup (Hara 1st place over world champion)
2004 ROAR Paved On-Road Electric Nationals (Hara 1st place)
2004 British National Champion (Andy Moore)
2004 Swiss Nationals (Jean-Marc Betticher 1st place, top 3 winners were driving the Pro 4)
2004 IFMAR ISTC & 1/12th On Road Worlds Warm Up (Hara TQ, 1st Place)
2004 DHI Cup (Hara TQ, 1st Place, Fastest Lap)
