Thanks. I wanted to get the tit axles to pair up with the steel dogbones to lighten them a little.

The pro4 dogbones are to long for the cyclone, you need the version1 or 2 cyclone dogbones in steel or ali with the square titanium axles.

My motor runs around 165, speedo 135 with rubber tires.
Now go woop some 3.5's
so i cant use the 100t at all?

I dont think they are actually lighter. I was looking at them from a durability point of view.

Thanks..
my temporary solution is the Pro3 low friction belts for the front..3 teeths bigger.. will have to adjust the diff cam on a tight setting..
for the rear.. 63T from the R40.. it's a little wide..and I"ll have to trim it down to the right width.

i dont really wan to modify the mounting plate to get gearing. is there any way you could run A 48P spur, say maybe a associated or something, they look like they would mount the same?

you will not be able to use Kimbrough gears, they have 6 inner holes and only line up for TC's that use 3 screws to mount the spur.

Robinson Racing gears, HPI, Xenon, have 8 inner diff ball holes which line up for the Cyclones 4-bolt spur gear mount

You can run 48dp gears but they will pose the same gearing problem as the diameters of the gears will be the same they'd just have less teeth.

There isn't much to dremel, put the motor in and slide it back all the way and look at the can screws. My motor is mounted so the wires come out on top. No dremeling needed for the 110, just a file. If you run the 7700 with 110-25 it's going to run the coolest, I have used 110-25 & 26 & 27 It will get to hot with 27. You can get a brushless bulkhead for the Cyclone if you like. ..........Start with..... Punch at 40, timing at lowest , brake at 30, drag brake at 10 or less.
Good luck and let us know how it go's

Yes you can.. you just use 2 screws instead of 4. It's also a good idea to run the carbon plate on the spur when only using 2 screws to help prevent any chance of a wobbly spur...

http://www.redrc.net/2007/06/hb-gumb...-diff-upgrade/

Has anyone tried running the new D4 diff bolt in the Cyclone?
I would say you will need to drill out the diff centres a little to accomodate the larger bolt, however i would think the peace of mind would be worth it.
