AC. It looks like the original release of the cyclone. The later versions have revised odds and ends.

I personally think the best thing of the new kits is the version 3 spool and the HD Steel universals (which are actually an option part anyway).
Oh of and the WCE and hara edition have purple alloy parts (which of course is the only colour you should have for bling!!!)

B18C turbo, you should be able to get a kit from heaps of different stores. Getting some parts is a pain but the kits should be readily available from any major store which stocks hot bodies kits.

ah man, I want a moorespeed cyclone sooo bad. I plan on using it so bash around in my newly sealed driveway and occasionally when I have work off race it at R/C madness in Connecticut on their huge assphalt track.

The cheapest i've seen this kit go for is $450 NIB at speedtechrc.com

People on here want $375 used!

$450.00 that's still a good price even if you buy from Tower with the discount codes...
just get a used Hara edition version for cheaper.. not much difference between the Hara and WCE kit.. you can slowly upgrade to the WCE version for less..

my bro is already tempted to get a Hara R40..
for me Nitro cost too much...$$$$ plus I don't like the smell and noise...

maybe Billy will Fill up the track with dirt and we can race offroad..
then dig up the asphalt again when on-road becomes popular again..

anyways.. back to the regular schedule program... cyclones...

hmm....... the cyclones already a couple of years old... wonder if there is a Cyclone II in the works..

We ran a team endurance race this past weekend at our track. My buddy and I used a Cyclone Black and a Cyclone S for our team. We pretty much had the entire thing wrapped up until 3 turns from the end of the race when my black Cyclone decided to throw a front dogbone out of the axle. Freak accident for sure. Afterwards i flexed the front of the car every which way and for the life of me I couldn't make the axle come out of the outdrive. God just hated me that day.. (my wife gave my G4 a nitro bath earlier that day.. pretty much killing all of my onboard electronics). We still got second place in the electric race, though. My advice would be to make sure that you have steel front dogbones (I doubt aluminum would last 45 minutes), and to locktite your diff screws. The front diff in my buddy's Cyclone S backed out and I had to "finish" the race for us.. Also, pace yourself and be sure to use plenty of heatsinks and fans on your motor (brushed or brushless). Overall, we were pleased with the black/S team combo... my black cyclone turned the fastest roadcourse laps of the weekend, and it did so pretty consistently.
