Hi, I bought the car used so I am not sure. I would guess maybe 3racing? I'm new at this so still figuring stuff out. I know the blades and rear diff are 3racing, so I suppose the screws might be as well. But again not sure, sorry.

Whats a good size 48 pitch spur to get that will make good rollouts for 27 turn stock brushed (30mm - 35mm) and keep the motor in the midle of the mount so as i can go up or down pinions?

i have a 65 tooth spur but its way too small, i cant even get a 27t or 28t pinion to slide to mesh the spur, which is what i would need to get the right rollout.

i have heaps of pinions in 48 pitch, but just one spur at the moment.

Good Question Losi!

I'm wondering the same thing as you. I only have a 96 tooth 64 pitch spur gear for mine.

I heard you could use a 81 tooth spur but I don't know what pinion gear to use.

I would also like to know which MFG spur gears fit?

With an 81tooth spur the maximum rollout you can get is around 33mm maybe 34 so dont get that.....

Hey guys i just finished building my cyclone.. i do have a few questions though, how tight do you make your ball diffs? i set mine so that i can't turn the gear while holding the axles, however now that the car's done i can hold on to the wheels and turn the gear without too much force.. i assume its slipping too much? How tight should it be? and whats the easiest way to tighten it? another thing is how do you change the toe setting? finally i'm running it with a gtb with a spektrum pro reciever and i'm having a hell of a time fitting things on the chassis, i ended up stacking the receiver on the servo.. i assume thats a bad thing.. any suggestions? sorry for noob questions.. thanks!
