what are some good ways to take some grip out of the car? we have a very high grip asphalt track and i have gone down to 0 degree tow black in the front but by the end of the day the traction still comes up more so i still need to take some grip out. i have 30 wt. and pink springs in the front. i have the roll centers on the camber plates at 2mm and 1.5mm spacers under the tow blocks. no kick up or dive front and rear

when i ran my 9x1 checkpoint i'm using 32/108. i guess 37/108 will fit because i've tried using 41/106 with a 23t motor

Are you going to SIR tommorrow?

If you want I can come down and you can check out my set-up. I also saw your post on SIR's thread. I've got some stock black spare v2 bones. I switched to the steel ones and have 3 of the originals. Let me know?

yea ill be at sir tomorrow.

i have some more bones now, just getting a new spool. right now i am trying to get my mip shinny cvds to work on my worn out spool. just need to file a bit more back and they should work... with blades... woot.. haha that will be nice to be able to use blades. but who knows i might need some more bones sooner or later... haha

i have a few more things to change on my setup to help free it up form more. but i might be willing to barrow your 0 block until mine gets here.

fjm9898, a spool will settle the car down quite a bit and also take away steering. You may also want to use a heavier oil if you are finding the car too twitchy, I like to use 40wt.

Just wondering if the cyclone can have a fdr of about 3.6:1 for 540 racing & can it acept standard aftermarket spur gears?

also the spring rates for this car are they in coils? is there a conversion table to know what the rates are?

also do towers have the springs, if so what are they called, are they the pro liniar springs?
