I think the chassis will be around 2.5mm and the upper deck maybe 2mm but as the Cyclone isn´t released yet nobody will know for sure.
Hara used the Cyclone at the LRP Masters what was held on carpet.

I havnt been reading through these pages recently, but has anyone discovered why this car is so expensive yet?

I might wait for this car to come out in purple before I buy it

Did they run rubber or foam tires? I'd imagine the stock chassis would work fine with rubber tires on carpet.

This was rubber tires, we have no foam-racing here.
If you´re interested in this race here is the thread about the LRP Masters.
LRP Touring Car Masters 2005
I had some pictures and informations there.

Is it just me or is the US the only ones stuck on TC foam tire racing?
Everybody else I hear runs rubber on carpet.

I think outside the USA there isn´t so much TC racing with foam tires.
I know in the UK there is some foam racing but not that much as rubber racing.

Yeah, I heard Hara won once with Spearmint Gum wrapped around some dish wheels instead of rubber or foam.
Heres the kicker, the gum was chewed!

Also, My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Hara win with Nikko Car at 31 Flavors last night. I guess hes a pretty serious racer.
-from the Movie "Atsushi Hara Buellers Day Off"
(I stole the idea from Thad Garner who also quoted Bueller in some thread)

Is this car suited for carpet racing. I know Hara has used it on carpet but i am talking about us locals. The guys on this forum have mentioned it possibly has to much flex

At the moment I run foam tyres on carpet, but without additive. Unfortunatley my club is changing it's rules for 2006 to only allow slick rubbers with additive. That's partly the reason I want the Cyclone, as my 3mm chassied Pro 4 doesn't work too well under those conditions, and I'm guessing the Cyclone should be better than the Pro 4 with the 2mm chassis, especially in mod.

Anyone got any ideas when it might be out? I've been told early September, but I'd be suprised if it's not released first in Japan like the Pro 4 was.
