Hi all,

What's your opinion on this new motor mount set which allows the use of bigger spur gear?

http://www.precisionrc.com/nv/car/pr...code=news_HBBL

It raises the center shaft and so the spur gear by 2mm.
In the package there are two 2mm washers to put between the upper part of the rear bulkheads and middle chassis.
Has anyone used it?

you dont really need it you can run a 110 spur on the cyclone with out any mods and can run up to a 13.0 FDR range

there is not that much difference between the black versions and the blue and purple version, also with the pro4 you can use all the suspencion parts

ok so really it was just a color difference... just wanted to make sure before i got get a older one that i am not already in the hole performance wise

is there an option chassis for asphalt or is the car ready out fo the box to hit the pavement.

also do the dog bones from the pro4 fit the cyclone... i have a pair of shinny cvds i would like to use on the cyclone cuz i herd the cyclone stock ones will bent with a oneway in there.

and i take it the rear hubs are the same. so i can transfer over my aluminum stuff.

Hi Guy's

I just thought I would let you all know that I not only had my personal best lap but also fastest race times at my local club on saturday night. I was so impressed with the Cyclone WCE. I added 1.5 shims under the pivot blocks and I ran Hara springs. ride hieght of front 5 and rear 5.5. Droop was 5 and 5.
2-bad (peter) helped me with some set ups and I run a 7 x1 orion OJ motor.
I had so much steer and grip with the car. All I can say is I wish I run this car a year ago instead of the Tamiya MRE. I had lots of on and off power steer and I found it was great under brake.
I am not braging here, I just wanted to let you guy's know how impressed I am with the cars first full race outing.
Thanks Guys
Addam

Good to hear Addam. Glad you are so happy with the car... even if I knew you would be.
