Hi guys. I was assembling my Cyclone today.

But I hit into some snags!

1) I got two diff pulleys of the same type, where the recessed holes for the balls are square! And one of them is supposed to be for the one way...

2) the one way has 3 screw holes instead of four as depicted in the manual. Is this normal?

3) What oil should I run inside the one way, and how do I put it in?

You have the 2-piece pulleys that are wide and have to be glued together, right? One of them should have a smaller center hole than the other.

Your one-way has 3 mounting holes right?

If you answered yes to both questions, you can use the pulley with larger center hole on the front one-way and the one with the smaller center hole on the rear diff. Hot bodies has some weird stuff going on with the one-ways.

By all rights the part numbers for those pulleys should be A495 for the rear and A496 for the front one-way, which are old part numbers and HPI says that the A496 pulley is discontinued. there are newer pulleys out that are narrower and the part numbers for those are 61050 for the rear, and 61051 for the front one way. Unfortunately the 61051 won't fit the 3 hole 0ne-way.

It sounds like you got the same stuff that I got, they're old kits.

You should probably do what I did and get a couple of spare A496 pulleys if you can find them?

Use the white silicone grease on the diff.
