Building an under body aero kit for my wce cyclone.1mm carbon kevlar
It will go from the bumper, under swingarms to 1" past rear chassie, and out to the sides of body shell with just enough cut out for tyres....
at the rear it will have a kick up, just like a real underbody kit would.
This will mount on the top of chasie. in two halfs left and right. after proto type is made i can vaccum form more from plastic....

Any comments as to the benifit of underbody kit welcome
looking for down force,,and or wank factor

Interesting project, and interesting to see whether there is actually much downforce to be gained from running it (I assume it will seal with the lexan bodyshell?).

Only think I would watch out for is the rulebook, I know that BRCA rules prohibit underbody aero aids, so may also be the case with your rules.

You should refer to your manual to confirm the parts:

The brace should be the same as the Pro 4
HPI Graphite Bumper Brace 73086
Or you can get a plastic bumper brace which comes on this Pro 4 Parts tree
HPI Bumper/Body Post set for RS4 Pro 4 73513.
I cracked mine after a few runs so i never bothered replacing it, i dont know how strong other people find the carbon fibre bumper brace

HPI Precut Foam Bumper 6274

Bottom Deck / Main Chassis 70728
Top Deck 70729

Addam,
I think the Computer program was playing up a little last night and spitting out dodgy info... I believe "tones" has the track record and "Scotty G" had TQ last night.

We shall see when the results from the final are posted ...but in the meantime I'll amuse myself!

Anyway, back to your regular scheduled programming. I'm going back to the Schuie thread!
