Wasnt talking about you. Li-po will be out of the question for these 5 cell advocates. Thats my point right there. I get anywhere from 30-40 minutes, depending on braking and gearing. I dont think my motor has seen a day above 120. These dudes want to gear their cars to the wall and then wonder why they have heating issues? Thats retarded.

that just doesn't make sense BX, why don't you just run nitro with nitro and electric with electric??

i have a garage full of top shelf cars, i race mainly electric, and i will race on any track. so don't generalise.

you electric against nitro comments are dumb. these are different disciplines within the same sport. appreciate each on their own merits.

anyway, no-one can argue with you 'cos you think you know it all. you actually give RC a bad name.

Totsiens!

Look fellas, maybe you boys just dont get it. Just like guys who convert 1/8th scale buggies to electric to race against nitro because they recognize thats where the power and the speed is, thats what I do. I run nitro in case you havent read the signature. For on-road, electric is a scarcity and if you want to represent, you better come hard body. 5 cells aint getting it and I WISH some of you dudes would try. Stock and 19t BRUSHED is king here in nyc and that is BORING. So, to be competitive, I run electric...brushless/Li-po. Maybe some of you cats bought a subscription to sub c's, I dunno. The length of a two str8s would eat your 5 cells and then what? Boo hoo

Pretty much all of the components that come on the "S" are more flexible. The front c-hubs are VERY brittle compared the standard, though.
Thanks for the help guys. I located some in stock here in the states. I used to run 20% arms on my RDX and it helped with traction on some tracks on those hot summer days down here. It also minimized breakage to next to none.

I really hate to nag over a question that's been asked over and over again but, I'm placing a order for spur gears tonight and need to confirm what everone is running for a spur gear outdoors on asphalt. Is everyone running either a 100, 104 or 108 tooth spur gear? (64 pitch only, not buying a 48 pitch gear set this week) I was thinking a 108 was the largest you could fit. However, would a 108 stick out from under the chassis? What's everyone running for a spur gear otudoors these days with a cyclone?

Thanks!

i run a 108 for mod so i can get the gears to mesh.i run the 100 for stock and 19 turn.108 is the largest without sticking out of the bottom of the chassis.some guys squeeze a 110 and get away with it.it only sticks out a little.that is more needed for the 3.5 and 4.5 brushless motors
