Put washers or shims under the antenna holder to raise it up.

In the cyclone S there is a shim which is 4x6x2mm in size (Part No. 61242b) and this shims the centre pulleys well, but i havent been bothered finding one for my second cyclone.

I have my receiver mounted the other way around, so the antenna wire exits the receiver on the outside of the car, and then route it back around, this way you have a bit more freedom on the height of the wire by the belt. My wire goes above the belt.

Yes the 4800 Li-po does fit in the Cyclone with no modifications needed.

Just took the car for 2 pack run to try it out at the local track. First impressions,
1/much more steer than the MRE
2/ much less under steer than the MRE
3/ Much better mid corner control than the MRE
4/I think the car is a real winner.
I am running the same setup as the standard setup from the box.
The gold coast track is wide and very fast, so I will be running at Meakin Park in a few week's which is a lot tighter and much more technical. I will talk to 2-bad who is a member a Meakin and get some final tips from him, I hope. I may just sneak up and keep looking over his shoulder when he is not looking.
But end result I love the car.
TomB here in OZ painted the shell of Rhienards car, It will have to do,

Default I'm backkkkkk

Still rocking the Pro4, but couldnt help but take cheehtae up on the deal on a once used Cyclone. Going 48 pitch. Stuck an 81t spur. Dropping a 3.5 in it. Based on the 3.5 in the Pro4, FD 9.23. Motor is now breaking 110 degrees. Figured I would do something similiar for the Cyclone and drop a 20T pinion givng me FD 9.87. What should I expect? I run against nitros, wide open track, longer straights. Set-ups.....81T leaves me a gnats hair of space, can I go larger???

Those guy's would not beleive me that I have gone across to Cyclone. I had so much Tamiya stuff. But I can say I feel that the Cyclone is a better made car. Production wise of the car is 10/10 and it 100% felt better at the track. I would have stayed at Tamiya if I had not decided to sell the car and give R/C racing away. I am 42 years old and I was running the Gold Coast electric side of racing here in Australia, I did not have a day of work in 47 days. I am a Golf Pro and every day I was not at the track I worked teaching golf. ( some would say that is not work) . I spoke with my wife about giving away racing and after starting to sell my thing's, a lot of the members at Meakin Park said why don't you just race night's here with us. The problem was most of my stuff was Pending sale on the for sale forum. After my meeting last Saturday night, one of the Members offered me a Cyclone and Here I am. I must say to you all if you live in Queensland and you get the chance to race at Meakin Park you will know why I changed my mind about giving racing away. Those guy's are one bunch of special people and every time a new face is there they make them feel very welcome.
Thats my story of how I changed to Cyclone
Addam

Hey what did you guy's race before Cyclone and what made you change ?
