The Rear 61044 are different from the front 61043. The rear ones would not fit in the front one way when i tried them. So they are a little wider on the end.

Are you using the 70713 cups? I just measured the 61044 and the only difference that I found was the the ball end is .010 bigger and the shaft is .015 smaller than the 70710 aluminum dogbone. The 61043 dogbone measures identical to the 70710 aluminum one.

I also just got a reply back from HPI telling me that the A496 one-way pulley for the Cyclone has been discontinued. Imagine that? I just bought my Cyclone from Stormers 6 weeks ago, and it came with all the updated parts.

It should be a current model, they were on order when I first saw the sale they had, and I had to wait for the order to come in.

Yes I'm using the 70713 cups. The 61044 might only be .010 bigger but it is just enough to prevent it from fitting correctly in the cups.

I can see the difference in the fit from the front to the rear with the 70710's. The kit I bought had the 70710 dogbones for both front and rear. The 70710 bones fit rather sloppy in the rear diff. The 61044's should make for a nice fit in them!

That is the old part number. It was actually RS4 pulleys from years ago.

Here is the new part number 61051.

The 61051 won't fit on the one-way holder 70709 that comes with the Cyclone. It only has 3 mounting holes. Only the purple one-way has 4 mounting holes.

I'm confused?

Use the narrow rear diff pulley for the one-ways that come with the black kit.

The narrow rear diff pulley won't fit on the 70709 one-way, the inner hole is too small. Only the A496 has a big enough inner hole and enough holes to mount up using 3 holes. It looks like the purple one-way has enough holes to use either the 4 hole or 3 hole.

well i personally like them, make the drive train even smoother... using them in 17T only since they wear out pretty fast.
