To say the BMI conversion improves the car on carpet (any tire) is an understatement. The car completely and instantly changes into an ultra competitive ride. The conversion allows the suspension to do the work it was meant to do - and in addition, the car is balanced 50/50 F/R and L/R if you use a low profile servo.
I have not run the car on asphalt up to this point, but I think the benefits would be identical.
