Default HB Cyclone Wins DHI Cup

Another great win for HB Cyclone! Its Ronald Volker in mod, winning with his HB Cyclone, and Andy Moore comes in 3rd. Team Xray best placing is 7th, which sucks.

I moved and where im at now has a local track that runs 4cell mod sedan latemol on a small concrete oval. Most run brushless but im going to run brushed. Anyone have an idea of where to start on gearing for a 8 turn mod? I really dont like 4cell, but I cannot argue with a 17minute trip to get some track time.

try 7.5 and go from there with 4 cell mod with a 3.5 brushless (equal to a 7 turn) I was geared around a 8.25fdr

Just out of curiosity , ..... To the people who have broken the diff screws .... How is or was your diff built ? The kit instructions show one bearring and two spacers. has anyone broken one using two bearrings ????

I stop breaking diff screws when I changed to using Associated Stealth Diff grease on the diff balls, Associated Black grease in the thrust, and adding an extra washer at the diff nut.... And yes I know it sounds stupid, and I can't figure out why grease and a washer will stop a screw from breaking, but this is what has happened....

Oh, Static Racing.... just to make sure you know that the Moore WE car has a Titanium nitrated diff screw, not to be confused with a diff screw that is make of Titanium.... no extra strength then a normal diff screw (at least thats how I understand it anyway )
