I bought a few things from Stormer Hobbies when I needed a few Cyclone parts. Use the steel ones for the front of the car and alum for the rear. Saves alot of greif from bent bones and especially if asphalt with a spool.

thats what i did, also you can use the Xray blades on the steel dogbones if you want to use them on the rear. version #2 is a little thicker

really? I tried them on the new CVDs and they did not fit (the snap-on hole is too small). Did not try to get them onto the "old" v2 steel shafts since they looked same size regarding the pin. For us it would be great to use the Xray blades since they're much easier to get here than the hotbodies ones...

Hi guys,
My cyclone is finally nearlly in my hands... But im going to need to use it with foam tyres, 19turn carpet... i need help. What front diff type should i be using? Im imagining that a ball diff is required...? If so where can i buy one from? will i need alloy outdrives for it etc...? could somebody help me out with part numbers and what i need etc...? Also will a oneway diff or spool not be any good?
Cheers in advance
Andy (in the UK)
