sweet, i cant wait till its finished. the only thing im not sure of is my gearing(note: it may be normal but im a newb so im not sure). Anyway the manual had a list of a bunch of pinions that would work so i chose one that will in the middle pretty much. Anyway i got the pinion gear installed and like when i push the car slow it makes some noise from the motor turning and when i slide the car it stops pretty fast, im not sure if its normal but i know i got the gear installed right. anyway heres a vid of what its like, theres a tad sound delay because i used a digital cam. anyway is it normal?

Sounds abit tight i think fella, you want it so thers abit of rock in the spur gear.it should sound quiteish when you push it.If your still not sure take it to your local club.An experinced racer will be more than glad to do it for you.I wudnt advise running the car until you have it meshed correctly tho, yourl do more damage than good!

Have fun!

Schreff- There is an editable setup sheet on:

http://www.gearchart.com/

You can even email Harshguy and he can give you rights to add setups to the database. Harsh and I will be in Vegas too, so you'll have to wait till after for him to set that up. But you can download the sheet and print out your setups.

For a Surikarn you may want to try Speedtech or Stormer. ERI may have them still also.

Couldn't tell you off hand which way to turn the bearing holders, just turn them one way and see what happens, if it makes the belt looser turn it the other way
thanks have u got a part number for the drive shaft and a place to get them from (uk preferd but dont mind geting from hong kong )
