I agree you can get an xray t1fk05 way cheaper than that, that's why i'm saving for either any of the new pro4 cars, or maybe even the FT tc4.

STILL outrageous! I totally agree, that, these unbelievable prices are driving people out. The manufacturers are turning r/c racing into an elitist hobby / sport. I'd rather put the $450. into my lifesize car. The pricing for kits, hop-ups and some parts, has gotten way out of control!

Just buy a 1/12!
Way more fun, cheaper and you don't need to buy a new car every season (or more)!

hell the tc3 for that matter. i still use a tc3 and beat guys with the fk05 and all the high end cars, people have to remeber its the driver that makes the biggest difference not only in skill but how a car fits to your driving style. i mean the tc3 can still kill. i know a guy that got 2nd at the paved nats driving a tc3 so not you dont have to get a new car every season, he has had the same one for 5 years! just get the car that you like and that fits your driving style that is what matters, and have fun driving

AGREED! As long as pro4 parts are being made i'll be happy! And since the cyclone has same suspension parts as the pro4 that mean i'll be keeping this car for most of my racing days! Also if you keep switching your car every season you will most likely not get the full potential of your current car.

Maybe, if, we stop being so impulsive and wait for these "hot", "new", fresh off the "Nationals", "Regionals", "Worlds" vehicles, to age on the shelf a bit, the price would drop down to a more reasonable point. Those of us who HAVE to get it 1st, at any cost, contribute to and re-enforce the manufacturers selling tactics. Then again, I have I home and a family to worry about. Maybe, my priorities are screwed up.

Okay. here's the thing: If, we continue to pay a higher price, every time a new car hits the stores, the prices are only going to increase - right?
