I can get to 9.75 at 32/128, but I don't know if the large spur would clear the rear graphite brace. Who else is running a Novak 4.5 in this car and what gear ratio are you running? Thanks so much.
Ron
I am running a Pro 4. Internal ratio of 2.4375 is the same on both vehicles. With my 4.5, I am running 98/24 and then I switch up to kill a little bit of low end, I go to 98/25 or 26. Talk about rocket! The car will be sick sick sick and the temps on the motor max at around 130. Depending on the cells you are running, the runtime will be in the neighborhood of 8-10 minutes. Ya'feel me!

110 is fine.... It sits almost perfectly level out of the chassis. Perhaps 0.5mm out.

So far I've not had ANY issues with it running asphalt outdoors with a Novak 4.5 It would be very rare indeed to bottom of the chassis completely, and perfectly level to start grinding that gear. I did some curb hopping experiements (erhm./ on purpose of course.. 8cough*) and there were no isses. When taking a ripple ride - the car always jumps front the front bumper acting as a ski ramp. Or the car rolls.. no scratches down the centre...

marcos. J has had the same experiences...

The spur assembly came loose and the grub screw was the culprit. Is this common for the cyclone? The motor kept revving but the wheels weren't turning.
I thought it was the pinion spur mesh that got loose or the one way broke without hitting anything but it turns out the spur itself came loose.

that is a common problem.use some blue locktight on the grub screws and that will end.
