Instead of converting the bones over to MIP's, just get the HD Steel bones(ver2) and you won't be breaking bones or wearing them out fast. I snapped both HD Aluminum bones and have no problems with the steel versions.
8x1 + tight track with boards = light wallet if you use the aluminum bones

Rc zombies

I think they measure them from center of pin(diff side) and center of hole for axle assembly.

But again I am going to do a little research.

I just got the car today so once I get it assembled I will work on it.

I am also having some topdecks made for the car for carpet racing with foam tires. It is going to be a small run around 10 units.

I will be selling the extras to offset the design cost for the dfx file and labor/materials.

I am not sure of price but they are going to be a bit expensive at around 20-30$. If I was handy with cad it would be a different story.

So if anyone is interested let me know by pm and I will hang on to your info. They are going to be 3mm thick and I am still working on the design....I have to get the car together to finalize the changes and I am going to try to have it setup to use single and dual bellcrank setup like the pro4.

It stinks that carpet with foams is not popular in asia/europe as all of these items would be available from hb/hpi.(3mm chassis and 2mm roll bars..lol.)

Tower measures it end to end.. 50mm.

I have one in front of me... 50mm
center of pin to hole is 46mm.

BMI will be releasing a carpet chassis soon.

Thats cool..thanks rczombie.

The hpi package at my lhs says 46 mm....so now I have an idea of what I need.

48mm shaft ent to end or 44 pin to pin.

I know Jason is going to have a carpet chassis. I am just going to do a topdeck. It is really just for myself but I need to have at least 4 topdeck made....so I figured if I did 10 I could at least get back some of the money I spent.

Thanks

the final testing will be this weekend.i made some changes to it this week and sent it up north for intense testing.if all goes well they will be in production within the next 2 weeks.
the spool will be changed to fit blades and then released.if i could get my hands on the new cvd's and blades we would already have them ready.unfortunately i cant get my grubby little hands on em.

does the new outdrives require new cvd's or do the blades fit the old ones?

not sure... don't have any old cvd's..
but I think it will fit in the old ones...
wagonman might be able to confirm that...
I'll measure the pin diameter and let you know.
