Has anyone compared running weights between the regular, Hara/Surikarn and the S models? Does the plastic make it any lighter, or will the tub negate any savings?

the Hara/Surikarn editions will be slightly heavier than the regular kit due to thicker shocktowers and revised bulkheads..

I'm going to assume that the 'S' kit will be lighter than all 3 kits available 'coz majority of the kit is all plastic.

have not built it yet. it will cost about $500.00 plus to upgrade to a regular cyclone.

Default cvd

Has anyone figured out what length cvd would be required for the cyclone?

I dont have a kit yet it is on its way and I am not a fan of the style of universal axles that come on the cyclone. I had this style on a mr4tc and on carpet with foams the alum. bones wear at an insane rate.

I understand the pro4/tc4 are to long for some other posts. What length would be required? I think the pro4 ones are 48mm. I was going to attempt to contact mip for additional info once I had the correct length.

Does anyone have any idea on length of cvd on a losi xxs?

Thanks

you'll need 2mm shorter than the pro4 if you convert.

let us know what you find out.

MIPS axles and CVDs might be offered as an option part in the future since the prototype was used at worlds by Moore and co.

Well how about this....rs4 oneway fits the cyclone according to stormers online cat.....maybe rs4 cvd will fit.

The pro4 cvd look to be 46mm according to stormer online...so I guess I am looking for about a 44 mm cvd.

My lhs has huge stockpile of old hpi parts...time to start digging..lol.
