Square makes one, they are almost double the price of the stock one. Champ RC in Japan carries them.

start with the med-high set-up and adjust from there..
maybe softer compound tires and inserts.
remove the sway bars
lighter springs and shock oil.
etc.

Although they are certainly dearer than the stock version, they are much stronger and resist tweaking after a crash....money well spent IMO.

I picked one up in HK the other day... time will tell if it resists bending better than the stock one... (Yup.. i bent that )

Does anyone know of a supplier that has the upper deck and front belt in stock??

(BOo HOoo.. I broke my upper deck. The first time i've damaged a major chassis component on an rc.. )

Try RC Champ in Japan. If they don't have it in stock, its likely that its on its way to them. They are pretty good with filling orders.

Does anyone have a setup for a unprepared concrete parking lot track? It's you typical concrete parking lot with the usual bumps dips and expansion joints with medium to low bite. Tires of choice are TakeOff CS series.

TIA

its hard to say for me on that style surface being that i have never run on it but you can try the box stock setup because it is very neutral.the only things i would change from stock are changing to a spool instead of the oneway, locked layshaft pulley and run a 2mm spacer under the ballstuds on the steering rack instead of the 4mm under each stud.this will give the steering back that you would have lost from changing to the spool.

Hi Jason,

What would be the difference in changing the front pivot block to 0 degrees compared to the box set-up 2.5 degree block? What do you lose or gain with either?
Also do you have any recommendations for a spool set-up for a med-high grip carpet track run on foams? A back straight of about 15 or so metres. No tyre additives permitted. 12T limit mod, Standard Cyclone.

Cheers
Anthony
