probably not because most of the car is different then the pro4. if so then it will be really expensive and it would just be better to get the cyclone and sell your pro4

the only thing in common is the suspension. so unless you just want to buy 85% of rest of the car, just go with the whole thing .

I dont see the point why convert your pro 4 whereas you can buy the whole kit? Pro4 is very ideal on any track conditions in use, such a waste to convert it.

Well if the rumors are true i hope to see this car later this month or early july . I'm tired of just seeing pics of this car. . And if HB is smart they won't have the cyclone range $500-$600.

Now that is just funny. At least he is honest....
Besides BLUE is the fastest color.
Purple is so last year...LOL
Funny thing though the Cyclone does look alot liek the BD...bet the box stock setup will be dialed just like the BD.
But for those who think Purple is due a come back than I guess here is another option...LOL
Just messing with you guys...The Cyclone proved it is a winning car already as did all the rest of the current product run cars out there..
I think that there are more great cars out right now that you would be hard pressed to pick a car that could actually dominate any of the others.
Heck just look at the results from the REEDY.
1st FT TC4
2nd Xray FK05
3rd Cyclone
4th Tamyia 415MS
5th Yokomo BD

IN open Mod
Losi's JRSX won that one too,
Corally's RDX has won so many other events...
It is a great time for TC....not a looser car out right now.

GO TEAM YOK...LOL

Why would it take so long for the cyclone to come out? Hell when i first heard about the BD yokomo started putting it on the market in no time. I guess HPI/HB just want to make the cyclone as best as possible, not to mention make every HPI/Hara fan longing for this car so when it comes out everuone will buy it, but up in norcal all i see are xrays! I'm like one of the rare pro4 drivers...and i'm proud of it.

o0o . Now i know what you mean. Yeah there was alot of waiting for the jrx-s. That better not be the case for the cyclone! . I really want to drive a belt car. People say shaft is more easier to work on, maybe it is i never worked on a belt car. But all i know belt drivers don't have to work on stripped gears, gear shimming, and all the shaft drivetrain stuff. Not to mention belt is super smooth and quiet. What do belt drivers usually have to stock up on when it comes to drivetrain parts? I know shaft drivers must have a bunch of gears spares.

spares... about the same.. instead of bevel gears you stock up Belts, diff pulley gears, etc.

belts have to stock up on pulleys, belts center shaft, shims and more shims.
I have more shims on my BD than my LCG...really what makes a belt drive better or worse is the easy of getting to the stuff...well at least for the BD.

Not unless you drive a PRO 4...J/K I rarely need to shange gears. I have plenty but if you shim everything right and don't hit all the time you don't mess the gears up. I have been using the same spur gear for 6 months (reminds me I should get a new one) on my SD. It really comes down to driver.
Axel I think you are going through what I did a couple of months ago.
You are seeing all your buds and all the guys smokin' you at the track all driving a belt and you assume a belt is the reason. More times it is driver rather than car. I know if I can turn just consistant laps I can be in the top 10 everytime. It is all in practice and what you prefer. I prefer both so I have both. I like shaft for stock and belt for 19T and mod.
But to wiat around for your car should be fun...I know when Yokomo said a new belt car was coming I was excited up to the very day it came out, Only got upset because I found out that they were in country and I still couldn't get my mud grubbers on it....LOL
You will either be very suprised or very disapointed. I was surprised but more from the supreme fit and finish of the BD.
Car is great too. LOL
