Either the front or the rear??

the rear one is too small, so i don't believe the front one will fit either.

Wrong, he had that win in the bag all week. The only reason Hara was at that race was to test for Worlds. They tested four different cars that whole race and some worked, some didn't, but it was testing.

you are semi right... I spoke with Billy Bowerman owner of Speedworld he said..Hara had no plans on attending the Roar Nats..Hara was suppose to be in Thailand getting ready for the worlds. Billy and Hara are good friends and Hara has alot of respect for Billy..so Hara signed up last minute. Plus Hara's been promising Billy he would visit. and Lucky Billy he gets a personnally Hara built Cyclone and body from the race.

and all I got was a signed cyclone box and chassis.

What's wrong with the original belt? it's already soft and low friction.

you don't see Hara using other belts.

I used that, then pasted two results together into one big chart.

whats up with hara's wide rear sway bar?

and whats up with using flathead screws and countersunk front shock tower? (maybe rear, but i couldnt find any shots to check that tower).

also its kinda sad that all of his endbells dont have purple nuts on them

didn't get a chance to ask him about the sway bars.. totally missed that one.

if you look closely at the overhead view in the rear..they are countersunk as well... no button heads are showing..

I think eventually all his checkpoint endbells will be anodized purple...

that swaybar must be pretty stiff.

props for using countersunk screws......it looks a lot cleaner, and provides more positive locating.

but most props of all on haras car goes to running "nutless schock balls" or "shock ball nuts" for lack of better terms

stock HB design is to use a screw, a ball, and a nut, top and bottom for the shocks. now hara uses a screw with a ball that is threaded, so it acts as the nut. this way you can just pop the shocks off, instead of having to take a nut off.
its also likely that they develop slop less quickly, and the whole setup is for sure lighter.

details details details

Yep I noticed the shock mounting, similar to what was given to you on the Pro 3 with the HPI carbon fibre shock towers, so nothing really new there, but I have to admit I did prefer that method.
