Everyones OPINIONS are welcome!
I just recieved mine today... I don't think it will drastically reduce the motor temp. a clip on heatsink will probably do a better job in cooling the motor since it covers more surface area on the motor.

I just bought it just to have one... having more purple increase your speed by .0001mph...
after installing the new brace...you can use the old brace and bolt it on the side of the chassis by the motor and use it as a motor guard...similar to what is made for the T2.

A few racers from our local track have switched from the RDX or T2 to the Hara or Surikarn Edition...

Their track times have drastically improved.

I havent broke the stock one, but put an associated diff screw and nut in mine. It appears to be beefier. Thrust bearing, I would like to find a captured one if it exsists.

the AE diff screw and nut works perfect...but for the cyclone

it will work too .... but you won't be able to adjust the nut from the 2 external holes... you'll have to take the cv out to tighten. the AE screw used a 2mm hex.

There's a variety of clip on motor heatsinks out there..
but majority of them the fins go perpendicular with the chassis...

Wagonman...
something you may want to suggest to HPI/HB R&D dept.
a heatsink with fins that parallel the chassis for better cooling..that goes with the air flow through the chassis.. something similar to the one pictured on my car... made by TOP for the old Yok original belt TC....
unfortunately it doesn't fit the cyclone...
Looks good though...
