Does the one-way need different bones then?

Do the aluminium cvd bones fit into the one-way? - or will they be too small?

Missed Opportunity

Guys;

Don't you think it a bit strange that Andy Moore would fly half way around the globe to attend the Reedy Race of Champions in California and not bring with him either of the new MooreSpeed/HB bodies that bear his name? What a great opportunity it would have been to show off his products to racers from around the world. It would have also been a great opportunity to see just how they perform against other body brands in an ultra competitive world-class race situation. Strange indeed. ???

Dale Epp - sculptor/innovator/designer for PROTOform - as well as a growing list of misc. r/c body companies in Thailand, China, Taiwan, Holland and now the United Kingdom.

Dale, is that body ROAR approved I believe they had to be, in order to be used at the Reedy race.

floodo1:
Would'nt expect you to understand

Andrew_Carter:
You might want to get out your Webster's regarding the meaning of the word "jealous"

RAL:
The "ROAR approved" list doesn't seem to apply at the US Reedy Race. I've seen Ride and Yokomo bodies in use there and neither are on the approved list. I was told the Tamiya racebodies were legal in the Invitational class as well - also not a ROAR approved body.

id like to know what he could be jeolouse of if andy DIDNT TAKE THE BODY to the reedy race?
we could now asume he did use the protoform version, which is in favoure of dale epp?
i think dale may be expressing hes views that may be the body ISNT as good as hes own designs, there fore andy dint take it.

Isn't there a list of approved bodies, if so are the new Moorespeed bodies on the approved list?

From the Reedy Race page on Tamiya's web site

"9. Invitational Class Body Rules: For 2006 IFMAR sedan bodies are the only bodies legal for the Invitational class. Legal bodies must be on the IFMAR approved list found here http://www.ifmar.org/
10. Minimum roof height 115 mm all classes.
11. Maximum car width without body 190MM all classes.
12. Maximum car width with body 195MM all classes.
13. Wing maximum height 115mm all classes."

Go to this link

http://www.ifmar.org/pdf/Ifmar_BodiesAdd_onList2006.pdf

Granted while that may not be a complete list of approved bodies it is at the very least a list of bodies submitted/approved for the 2006 season.

That should help clear everything up.

As quoted from the good old Oxford ENGLISH dictionary

Jealous

1.Envious (of person etc.)

2.Resentful of rivalry in love.

Adverb

Jealously

1.2.Bitter,convetous,envious,grudging,jaundiced,re sentful,

3.Careful, possessive,protective,vigilant,watchful

Will do

Andrew_Carter;

Sorry, but I still fail to see how anything you have written here is in any way relevant to this discource. IF I was currently jealous of anyone, it would be Sam Hornish, Kasey Kahn or Donald Trump. (bad hair aside)

The Reedy Race tends to draw fair number of spectators and enthusiasts and because of this there's a "manufacturers midway" diplay area set up for anyone interested in the hobby. At this years Reedy Race about eight or nine rc companies took advantage of the opportunity to show their new products and other wares. Hot Bodies had a nice display there as well. The new MooreSpeed bodies were conspicuous by their absence there as well.
Just an observation.

It appears as though the Moorespeed line is only available in the UK/Europe at this time.
