I'm still building my Surikarn kit and the shocks are easily the worst I've ever built

Trying to get the ball joint to the end of the shock shaft is nearing on the impossible. Out of the 4 I have 2 that are barely on, 1 a little more so, and one nearly fully on.

I just can't get the shaft to stop rotating when I try to tighten the ball joint - anyone got any ideas?

Pics would be good buddy, Cyclone shocks are very similar to Tamiya TRF and should be very easy to build and rebuild.

Ballsie: I have a tool for that I think duratrax made it it looks like a brass coin with a slot cut out you slip it onto the shaft and grab it with a pair of vicegrips. You could also just use a towel wrapped around the shaft and grab with the vicegrips.

bear27: You need 302650 5mm ball ens with thread
303222 ball Joint5mm unidirectiona open
302664 can also be used these are the ones for the T2
307455 if the double sholder ball you need these for the king pin and the steering links (to attached it to the steering knucle) As far as heith it is soo close that no extra shims are needed. I do use a 1mm shim under the link on the steering block for more clerance.

Hope this helps otherd that like me are unable to find the Square Ti ends and are having problems breaking studs.

dude use pliers the cutter part of the pliers and grab the shaft there is like a little rough part grab it from there abd twist it should go on easy and cyclone shocks are the best in the market just need some patience

Does anyone have any experience with the Jet Racing alum. strg. knuckle ?
How are the tolerances on the bearing holes ? I've been breaking alot of plastic knuckles lately and was thinking the aluminum might be the way to go.

I have both front and rear hubs and they are pretty good. never have any problems with them. I would get extra 5mm shims

You need to put them on between the wheel bearing and the wheel hex hubs to eliminate play. On stock hubs per manual, you have to put on atleast 1-2 shims, but on the alloy hub I think I have to added another 2.

Default FDR

Hi all,

I'm having trouble figuring FDR out for a stock motor (19T single) on a asphalt track with a back straight of 600ft. Any help would be greatly appreciated. With 12T my FDR is between 5,6-5,8.
Thanks.
