Those two versions have not been released yet.

Here's a link to the new Cyclones:

the street price came to as low as $400.

Cyclone original price: 65000yen, = $559usd.+/- US street price: $400+
Hara/Surikarn edition: 72000yn = $620usd +/- US street price: ?

Just hope the Hara & Surikarn Editions will be around $450 range

still a better Deal than buying the T2...

I wish they made a closer internal ratio, smaller diff pulley and larger center pulley; then I wouldn't have to use such a huge pinion.

You are free to use any other tamiya center pulleys, am I wrong?

i am running on carpet i have 59mm tires a 108t spur and am running the monster stock pro motor. our track is usually technical with one large straightaway. does any one have an idea for a starting ratio??

I took my first laps in the cay yesterday. It blew me away without evin being set up properly it ran just a good of times as my perfectly set up tc4.

I usually never mess around with ackerman setting but decided to this time. It made a huge difference. The last thing I did was add a little bit more castor to compensate for the abundance of the car's turn-in.

Just curious, what exactly did you change on the ackerman ? Was it on the spindle (which hole did you end up in ?) or the inner pivot (how many spacers ?) ?
Thanks.

Start with a rollout of .98-1.00. If the car tops out before 3/4 of the straightaway, gear up. Also, check to see how hot the motor gets after a run.

I kept the 4mm of spacers on the inner steering column, but moved the ball studs to the inner holes on the knuckles.
