But the fact is that the TRF415 layout really makes an improvment in the cars handling and thats why all uses that layout.

I don't think TC4 starts winning a lot of races unless thay are planning to make some significant changes to the FT.

Give em another year to figure out the TC4 a little more like the 5 years they had to figure out the TC3 and they'll be right up there. TC4 looks like a nice car but they just need to work out the kinks

Moonman / Blackcat:

Totally agreed.

AE, for all intensive purposes is currently "Beta-Testing" the TC4 design with the released "Team" version.

With the wealth of knowledge gained in this "test" period, the FTTC4 should incorporate many intelligent / performance enhancing changes.

This silly freakshow of "belt-drive of the week" will quickly be coming to an end once it warms up in the Northern Hemisphere.

"Frank-XRAY has made nothing but belt cars since they started (other than the M18). And Yokomo started the belt drive trend with the YR4 (I remember a guy driving from Austin and racing in San Antonio to clean up the wins when the YR4 was still a fresh car). HPI had the gearbox/belt RS4 back then ('95?) but Yokomo had the only fully belt-driven drive train."

I know x-ray has nothing ,but belt. I'm just saying that all of sudden out of nowhere that all these "new" belt driven cars are coming out so soon

Kyosho also had some onroad cars derived from their Optima Mid series... and I believe those are fully belt-driven too... circa early 1990s...

Not at the moment, there will probably be a load more pictures from the next race that Hara and Surikarn go to though.
