Took the Cyclone out onto carpet last night for the first time - OMFG!

What a car. Only problem I had was the steering, there is tonnes of it! I turned the little knob down all the way on my controller to reduced the steering but there was still too much.

I think the main problem is me. I’m so used to the Pro4 and know when the right time to start turning in is, but it is about a metre to soon compared with the Cyclone. A bit more practice and this should be addressed.

I remember reading on this thread a while back, that some of you have moved the top of the front shocks in to reduce the steering sharpness, would that be correct? I currently have the top of my shocks in hole three (outside in) What do you guys do?

Cheers Ears.

Oh yeh, first impression of the Cyclone on carpet, Fan-bloody-tastic!! Roll on next Tuesday.

As far as I am aware, there is nothing available on the net. Only set-ups sheets.

What setup are you using? At the moment I am using the standard springs and just the front roll bar, and maybe a couple of slight differences on the shock positions to the stock setup and it works well. Just wondering whether it needs stiffening up a bit though...

...just thinking. With regards the ackerman. If I go less than 4mm would I get more or less steering?
