Naw. I have three! My VTA car, my Surikan edition, and a Andy Moore edition that was actually signed by Andy that has never been out of the box.

I'm going to Shelf Queen the Surikan car, and use the VTA car as a "Rent A Ride" if somebody wants to check out the class.

Default Need Help

I need some help figuring out a problem with my Cyclone TC. Under power the car pulls to one side, however, once I let off the power, it pulls to the other side. Any ideas what might be causing such odd behavior?

I've swapped the tires to the other side to see what effect this would have, but the problem still persists.

Here they are installed:

I used the 2mm shims (one on each side). Here are the PNs you need to convert over. ICRC, total cost was like $32.

Good luck guys!
Did you put a gear diff in the rear too? BTW what weight diff oils did you use? I found both PNs on A Main

I put putty in mine for the front, so when I wack something or someone, it won't break the uber fragile c hubs or the POM outdrive lie when I had a spool.

I have a ball diff in the rear.

Never had too much problem with the 2N1 spool ( 1 way without the pins a spool with the pins) that came with my TC. I'm going to put the gear diff in the rear of my second TC and keep the spool in the front just because the two spare ball diffs I have are crap even after rebuilding, and besides I want to try something new. Let you know how it turns out.

So looking for advice. Put the car back together to run some USGT. I still have a lot of spare parts so why not

Anyway, see attached photo. What I am experiencing I need to check is 'normal.' The 2 bearings pictured are 'sliding' and this is causing about 3mm of play left/right on the spur gear shaft. The mesh of the gears stays OK but not sure if this is going to be an issue.

Is this because the bearings are worn out? Or is this normal? It has been a while since I've run the car.

Thanks.......

yea, they should since the TCX and TCXX all use the same suspension arms, knuckles, hubs

might have to space/shim your steering rods so they are still fairly parallel like on the original arms - but shouldn't be too bad

i'm sure there is somewhere - especially for places that still run foam TC... for rubber TC, don't think there's much of a need for it anymore
