Hi all,
I am still racing with the cyclone tc. I had made some changes as front and rear gear diff, exotek chassis and the car goes perfect. Later i will upload some photos of it.

Best regards

We were racing cyclone this weekend and after some crashes changed all the arms to spec-r ones from s1. They are much-much more durable. All the sizes are the same, the only thing is different size of balls for swaybars - you need spec-r or X-ray cups.
I really don't like tc because of the battery (very narrow) and top deck.
Many things changed in TCs.

Hey trinity, I apologize for being a typical one language American, but you you give the highlights of that mod in English.

Hello,
Of course.

- Front and rear gear diff (sakura zero s) steel outdrives. You must to build custom spacers to fit well those diff. (I made my own spacers in a lathe).
- You must to add a rear belt tensioner because diff gear came with 38t instead 39t.
- Sakura zero s steel drive shaft 44 mm.
- Exotek lipo chassis.
- I also cut the top deck front stiffeners because i never use them.

That's all. Sorry for my english, i think isn't good enough.

Regards

I was noticing the difference between rates of the standard hb shock springs and the hara springs. The hara springs are lighter. would it be better for me to get the hb spring set or some hara springs. I believe the original spring rates were before lipo batts and brushes motors. or it come be. hara likes lighter springs. any help would be appreciated. also what weight shock oils are people running now

thanks.

You can swipe any setup sheet right off the tcxx/tcx and apply it to the cyclone. They are strikingly close except for the steering.

I know I have been asking alot of questions and you guys have been great in helping. I have a couple more. Will the TCXX swaybars and spur gears fit the cylcone, and I know it will have to be shimmed out, but would the tcxx or spec r gear diff be better?

Thanks for the help

Hello, i think that the spur gears fits perfect. You can also use others as Associated and Xray.
Respect to the diff, i don't test anyone, i think the tcxx diff will be better than the spec-r but i don't know. I use the sakura zero gear diff and its perfect.
