Well when I saw Mike Blackstock win in the carpet nationals, I didn't see any torque steer, but I saw the torque which = a win. Especially when I race with my buddies in the streets my TC4 is soooooo much faster. Plus those belt cars are such a pain to work with. My buddies have to clean the belts morethan they drive their cars.

i bet you are world champion in your block, its not the same thing running your car in the street than in a track
well, maybe not a tc7, cause associated lags on innovation, once the TC3 was designed, they figured they maxed out the performance of touring car, it would be more like a TC4.5 by then,

You probably race a lot on tracks. My buddies and I race on the streets, so it's not always that smooth. Is a T1R an xray car? Try running in the street and you'll know what I'm talking about. Either way, you might be an exception.

Yes, the T1R is an Xray.
I don't run on streets anymore, I've got way more fun on A track!
I would like to say to you; go to A local track when there's A practise day, and I can guarantee you will be hooked on it!

guys.. stop the shaft-vs-belt.. they both have its own advantage and weakness. compare them in different stand point is meaningless.
if you wanna have some action? try to digout yokomo new belt and compare all those side-motor, side-battery belts (415, FK05, Sigma2, HB new belt, Yok new belt). that might be more interesting than shaft-vs-belt...
I think this hpi/hotbodies arguement is put to rest just by the fact these are posted on the Hotbodies website and not on any of the HPI USA, Europe, or Asia sites.

Lets see.....
Ride Bodies, HB Car, Orion Power, Peak & Orion Motors.
YET.......Both cars sport Big Ass HPI RACING Stickers. Theory is not rested yet. This thing won't be settled until one of them makes an official announcement.
