Yea. It should feel different as you are changing about 3 things when you do the kickup change. You're changing caster, roll center, and kickup. With just the cast blocks change... all you are changing is caster.

It's something I guess I should test a bit sometime soon. I'll let everyone know what I find.

Get to testing so that the rest of us "REGULAR" racers have a clue The car was a rocket with kick up Didn't work too well out at Speedworld though

Checkpoint's power /Cyclone TC chassis combo is MAXIMUM FAST!
Looking forward to see the improvement tomorrow.
Hiro, will barry be posting his setup? Do you think it will lend itself well to stock 17.5? I know my car can make 20 laps but im having trouble (driver errors i guess) making it there. Fastest lap for me with 17.5 so far is 15.132. Im not sure if its setup or driver but with the same setup I have, ive gone from 15.5 to 15.3 to 15.1 fast lap. Just gotta stay consistent i guess (and i suppose my outdated GTB isn't helping much either at this point).

I had good results with .5mm of kick up at NorCal. I have not been able to drive in a while but when I get back it is something I want to try again. It smoothed out the entry a little and gave me a little more steering in the middle and off the corner. It helped keep my speed up on the switch backs. I must have "forgot" to tell STLNLST.....LOL This was on the TOP Spec Tire.

Maybe you should have told Romo to run some kick up

HI Syber Serulean,
Yes, I will post his setups on our web site as soon as possible.
He ran two different setups for mod and 13.5 so i will post both of them. I think his setup for 13.5 would perfectly work for 17.5.

I'm just very happy with the result that Barry made for us this week! He was so strong and fast all weekend.

Congrats Barry and Team Check Point!!

Default HB, AND CHECKPOINT

Barry Baker Congrats on Your 2 Wins today at the Ko race. You and Hiro worked well together this weekend to win the KoPropo race and your Checkpoint power was awesome in 13.5 and mod.

Thanks Mike,

You are right about Hiro and I working well together. We both think very similar when it comes to car set-up. Hiro was a great help this weekend. Thanks Hiro!

For all the HB drivers.....

As far as the car set-up....Hiro and I will be working on set-up sheets today and he will get them up on the HB site as soon as possible.

I am very pleased, it just shows when you have the backing from great companies and you are prepared, it is amazing what can be accomplished!

As Hiro stated before....Checkpoint/Hot Bodies= MAXIMUM FAST!

See you at the track,

Barry
