Exotek is closed from 11/24 - 12/11 per your sig. Does this mean if I order it online I won't get it until after 12/11?

Please advise,
~Mark

That's lame as hell. Guess they don't want any Xmas sales. Thought about getting one, but not if I have to wait a month for it to even ship. (or longer, with built up backorders.)

Does this affect or improve handling?

That's good to hear. Will they have the battery hold down bars as well? I hate taping the battery in.

The only advantage is that you can move all your electrics inwards (towards the middle) and then hang the lipo out of the battery side and you will able to achieve balance from left to right easier at a lower weight.

(1) The picture on the left is not part of the modification, its a HB prototype top deck.

(2) All you need is the second picture on the right.
Cutting the top and middle (rear) deck is very straight forward.

Cheers

Yeh i was running the team wave and probably its the same speed down the straight but it spools up to speed a little quicker or more punch as most people will say!! the only people that were faster were running temperatures of up 100 degrees celsius which is just ludacris and i can't beleive i didn't see motors going up in smoke. it was a 36 to 40 degree weekend. but when i could gear up i didn't loose any punch, just gained speed!!

Yes this is true but the secret was the tyre cleaner i was using buggy grip which is to much like an additive. And on this track it just didn't seem to work. but i did not get time to run on the track when it was gripped up due to work so i did not test this senario. but it is the second time i have seen no additive at all to be quicker

Default exotek chassis

For all you people who want the scoop on the Exotek Chassis. They are great. We had done a bit of practice before the Australian Nationals with the TC chassis and for us the Exoerk was worth at least a couple of tenth's of second a lap. Amazing consistency and predictability. Took a couple of big hits and never worried it. Everything fitted sweetly so no mods or Dremeling. The Exotek made a great car even better. We used the exotek battery strap mainly because of laziness and found it caused no problems. Congratulations to Decibels and cyclone and considering it was 5 Photons,1 Tamiya and 2 X Rays ,it was a pretty good showing for the Hot Bodies. Purple reign.
