Different cars can react differently to this, and it all depends how the steering geometry is setup. The way I'm describing it here is what I have found on the cyclone, so it may or may not be applicable to other cars.

Hope that helps!

couldn't you get the same calming effect with exponential off center and still have good ackerman for the corner?

Balistic- I'm sure you could with a little playing around with it. The only thing that that might do is affect the balance of low to high speed steering. Ackerman does have an effect on that too, but I haven't played with it much yet. Plus, I'm not a fan of using the radio to fix things like that but it's all personal preference.

You don't even have a car or your speedo updated and you're calling DADDY out SWR has the longest straight in norcal so you better be prepared. I'll be at Norcal next weekend then at SWR the following weekend. You might want to run the 17.5 class first so you're not pulling over every other lap TOP is bringing their local heavy hitters so it's gonna be game on for the cup.

If for some reason clint doesn't make the turn at the end of the straight, I just hope someone is there to take pics.

I have faith that clint will put as much motor as possible in there. And maybe even dremel his radio to get more throw on throttle.
