Unhappy Bad night Rob was robbed

Well bad news guys my truck got broken into last night and goodbye cyclone , radio, charger, batteries, and tool boxes. My racing days are going to be put on hold.
Im only posting this so it wont happen to anybody else. As you know I had a good alarm just not good enough when they cut the wires to my battery. So DONT KEEP YOUR RC STUFF IN YOUR VEHICLE EVEN IF ITS RAINING. aS UPSETTING AS IT IS TO BE VIOLATED AND VANDALIZED i REALIZE i HAVE TO BE EVEN MORE SECURE AND POSITIVE . So at the end of the day its all monetary it sucks but it can be replaced. So learn the lesson put your stuff away keep it secure because when its gone its gone. But I will be back I am never gonna stop just like I never lift lol. Well if you see my flourescent green pontiac with my carbon and purple cyclone rolling down the street in your neighborhood call the cops call me or just knock them out and take it jk. your racing friend Rob E.

your best bet is to notify your local hobby shop or pawn shops so if anyone tries to sell it or get it working the shops can know it was stolen. maybe the police department.

Well guys, first race with the super-hoped-up cyclone for me, short format, 3 x 8 minutes heats in groups, best timing/laps wins :

1st heat - 3rd place overal, great handling but lacks of speed on the main straight.

2nd heat - my batt came loose (first time on strap tape) ... so i abandoned.

3rd heat - was in 2nd place, but i made couple mistakes and ended 6th overal.

It was a great weekend, i won on GT Class and even when i didnt ended good on touring electric, im very very happy with the car, i already put the full graphite parts but the car still its heavier than TC5 or XRAY's.

Im preocupied with the final speed because im already on 3.94 FDR , engine its cool but still lacks just a little of final speed, thats on 13.5 brushless + nimh 6 cells on rubber/asphalt.

Here are couple pics, red car its mine :

Hope to make it better next time ...

cya !!

Pat

it is my first drift car so I have nothing to compare it to. I like it because it's all the same parts as my other Cyclone's. It handles well and I like the center one way / front diff set up.

I have an FT TC3 with a front one way but I don't have it together yet. I think the shaft drive will be nice when I use it at work, I keep getting little rocks in the belts on the cyclone.

I think the Cyclone is way overkill for drifting but I like it. I just can't believe how fast I go through the HPI drifting rubber tires, but they sure work nice with my set-up.
