Then I would say gear up in the mid 9's to low 10's. If you plan on racing I would suggest getting a 4.5, a 3.5 with lipo is going to be stupid fast.

Default thanks

i'm starting to get that impression about the 3.5,the more i ask around the more i here the 4.5, the last time i ran mod i was using a 7x1 orion hara.i was under the impression it was about the same as a 7 wind no?my brushed was fast with that wind is 3.5 more like a 6 or 5 wind?thanks for the starting point i'll pull some gear charts and test next weekend.

3.5T with 6 cells is way too fast to be controlled. Furthermore, without the optional brushless motor mount, you are not able to gear it right. At the IFMAR world championship, I don't think any top drivers run below 4.0T with 6 cells.

I personally run faster and more consistent laptime with a 5.5T, than a 4.5T because I can control the car better.

Hope it helps.

Good luck trying to get an answer. I'm sponsored by Orion and still don't know these answers That new speedo will need to be sent in to KO to have the 1.5 upgrade done though.

Version 3 spool, pick yourself up an FRP rear plate too.Other then that and possibly updating the shock towers to the WCE style tower that were on the Andy Moore, the new stil diff and that should do it.The evolution of the car has been small updates. But in reality you could run it the way you bought it and be competitive.

The shock towers have more adjustments. The FRP plate takes the place of the carbon cross brace in the rear that holds the center shaft/spur assembly into the bulkhead and cross brace for the center of the car.The inboard camber links on the older editions offer the same adjustments as the newest version cyclone. When I wrote stil diff, that was a typo/correction error on my part. The new diff from the TC version is what your looking for.If you decide to go this way, then you will also need to buy the new center pulleys and front and rear belts and new oneway/spool front Pulley that comes in the TC.HTH
