I have a local race I'm going to this weekend. We have recently lost Seattle Indoor Raceway as the primary indoor racing venue for on road racing. Due to some dedicated racers, they have created a club that races in a old naval base blimp hangar in Seattle, Wa. They are havign their first "special event" race this weekend on the 11th, so I'm going to go support the new club and race with them.

Check it out here:

There is a possibility I'll be down later this month for some testing though. Some of the Canadians are going to kidnapp me on their way down haha.

Thanks guys for help on gearing, im looking now to buy online 69 - 70 - 71 spurs on 64p and 34 - 35 - 36 on 64p pinions ...

The problem is that all the online stores i know only have 90+ teeth 64p spurs !!!, whre can i get lower numbers ?

Now, if i buy 48p spurs and pinions, will be fit ok ?, if so, wich configuration would be good for 13.5 brushless ?

thanks !

Guys,

this would be a good choice of pinions and spur to buy for 13.5 brushless 6 cells racing ?, its the best i found and lower on spurs, used the gearchart creator online to find a 4.5 around spot ...

thanks,

Pat

Sadly yes, they are done. But the new club is pretty cool. I hope it succeeds and does really well in the future.

That is sad. Back in Nov. 2007 I was in Tacoma/Pulyulup Wa. for some job training and was able to get to SIR on a week night and run a couple of heats. The track was hooked up and the people that ran the place were very welcoming and the locals were very nice! Here's some pics from my trip.

Be careful with Spur gears, they have six holes for mounting, Cyclone shaft has 4 so only 2 will match. I almost bought from buddy(who uses them in pan car) but realised that they only hold on two screws - could lead to some problems.

Cheers,
Janis

I use spurs similar to those.

I drill two extra holes in the spur then mount it with the CF spur gear plate to stop it from warping so easily.

Questions??

Excuse me, anybody could tell me if is necessary to buy a brushless motor mount set for TC chassis?
As i remember this motor mount is just for the previous version of Cyclone, could someone confirm about it, please?

Best regards

It was for low turn motors (which were the only brushless motors being used back then).

OK, looks i just will run 10.5 LRP or 8.5(if Trinity motors don't blow up), just need 5 to 6 FDR then i don't need it anyway!

Thanks!
