It is much better but he could also carry some speed onto the straight. Some of the other HB cars there could not....agony....blarg.

Thanks racenut. This is what you're running at NorCal?

I heard the track conditions were really bad. I would've saved the Sorex tire's for a bttter surface as well.

Yes the Duo motor is legit for onroad. Most that are running this same combo are similar in speed.

Hell yeah,I was not strapping my Sorex tires on yesterday.I actually watched others do so{use Sorex} with no benefit so I watched others who were running RP and the cars were much more planted. So I pulled out the most worn out set of old RP and commenced to drift racing!Actually the car was really good in the main.I think next month the track should be 10x better so I will wip out the sorex then.I was also using a sauce I have never tried before that gowens let me try.I bet he wishes he didnt now.

Naw,it was just an oversight. They sprayed quite a bit but the surface is so green right now, they almost needed to power wash it.The next race should be good to go.Man I wish I could make next weeks warm up.

It should be pretty fun. I just hope to have the speed on the straight of some of the SPX's. Other than that I should be okay. I should hopefully have the KO with the new 1.5 software to try out. If not I have a couple of other options. If the tire is ever announced then true testing can begin......until then bring your Sorex's

Hicks - what Duo was that? You know I really have a hard time thinking that Trinity puts out a decent product these days.

Trinty Duo 13.5-Trinity has always tried to be the leader in SPEC motors and they luckily got it right with the Duo for onroad applications. The Pulse motors suck.Express Motorsports sells the Duo's for a great price compared to the trinity built versions.

Hicks- are you running the BL motor mount in your TC? Who makes the spur in your car?

No need for it if running 13.5.Mod is what the BL motor mount was made for.I run the stock Spur{100t Xenon Spur/48t RPS pinion} and stock mount.

Yes. The brushless mount is how it should have been in all the kits as they have not only raised the spur axle for 2mm but they also made the motor to have a little more room.
