thing was i never got to ran it because i was missing a front spool to hold the belt.I bought it used and it needed alot of work because it was a little beat up.So i traded it for a yokomo because i always wanted one but could never afford it,plus i like using shaft drive because i dont have to worry about changing belts. But now i feel like getting a cyclone and i might be trading my CF tc4 for one but it's not for sure yet.

Default drive shaft

This drive shaft appeared on this thread a while ago... people were asking if it would fit on the Cyclone TC... I searched but could not find the answer... does anyone know if this will work ?

Thanks
I can't... 2 good reasons for that
- I run a Hara Ed which is slightly different from a WCE, plus there are some custom mods on mine
- this would require I purposedly strip the car off of any electronics... which I don't want to do and I'm afraid this will be the case for most of us

Checking the manufacturer's is your best bet

Paul

has anybody tried swapping the suspension arm of the old cyclone with the tc? have been wondering why i can't replicate the handling of my old cyclone with the tc and this is the only part that i have not tried replacing. my old cyclone turns at the corners like i've been using directional tires as compared to my tc that do not have that much steering.

They are double cardan joint drive shafts (There are two joint points). so each joint point has less refractive angle that will kill the chatter problem w/spool.

Here is the part number and the price.

#67699 DCJ Drive Shaft Set (1pc)
Retail Price: $38.00

*This item is pre-assembled set with dog bone, center coupling, axle and pins.

Thanks,

I suspect it would be the front arms. They are pushed forward compared to the WCE cyclone.

You could also try to shim the front TC arms backwards. I have found this gives a bit more corner entry steering.
