Also the voltage is starting progressively from 0 to the setup voltage in order to allow max amps to be used to spool up the motor, then the voltage goes up.
Since it is a max watt factor, the less volt you use the more amps are available

Does this charger only discharge at 1 or 10 amps? Or is it adjustable from 1 -10 amps?
#66
Discharge is adjustable from 1 to 10 Amps
#67
Thanks !
#68
That is incorrect. Discharge rates are 1 OR 10 amps.

That's right. Sorry Picco007 !

4 cell charging?
Has anyone tried this charger for 4 cell 12th mod? Any good settings for that? I see the ones for 6 cell but charging 4 cells is alittle different.
Thanks
Thanks

Jland,
Should be no problem using the 6cell step charge setups, the Delta Peak is only 3mV so that will not cause any problems!!

With the GP1100, if you use it in Micro cars, you can also use step charging for more power :
Step 1 : 500mAh 3A no flex
Step 2 : 550mAh 0.1A no flex
Step 3 : 1300mAh 2A 3mV/cell temp. 45°
- You will have more power
If you use it as receiver batteries (5 cells/ 6V) :
Mega Flex (10ms) / 2 A
- You will hurt less the cells and have more "runtime"
Step 1 : 500mAh 3A no flex
Step 2 : 550mAh 0.1A no flex
Step 3 : 1300mAh 2A 3mV/cell temp. 45°

I wish the manual gave more insight on charging setups for the step charge. I got mine yesterday and am trying to figure out what it means when it asks me on each step whether I want the impulse on/off? What does the impulse setting mean in the step charge setup menu? Do I want it on or off and what does it do?
Thanks for any info as I am practicing today for a big event this weekend and would like to try out the step charge feature. I am going to try the step charge setup posted earlier on this thread and see how it goes. Anyone have a good step charge setup for stock racing?
