To answer you question I was cold while sitting in the ballroom and was also sick at the time, which did not help. I think my pit was right under a vent as well. It was great outside and would have loved to had the track there as well. It could have all been the fact I was sick the whole week. I will try to come next year well and see if that makes a difference!! I'm still gonna pack some long sleeve shirts, just incase!!

I think it was a trade off as if you were on the driver stage, the lights were very hot up there. I was sweating in one of the qualifers and I broke in the first turn. although I think they got it right towards the weekend. I could only imagine trying to keep up with the heat from the dischargers and chargers and pit lights and assorted hot heads and the rest of the bench racing talk blowing off a LOT of hot air. I hope to have a race report this weekend as I have been joting down all the stuff I remember.

Remember Jon, I also said I was sick that week thanks to my loving wife!! She managed to give me her cold the week before and I was pretty much trying to get over it all week at the race. Was pumping Sudafed into me every day. Did nothing for my driving but my head was clearer towards the end of the week!! There was no way in hell I was sweating up on the stage as cold as I was!!
