Good showing for the Hot Boddies Cyclone, Surikarn is in the top five, does he run the Cyclone as well?

that is like using a Monster can but since they were out of monsters arms decided to use an epic roar stock arm in it. anyway you look at it, it's a Hybrid motor, even if its manuf by the same company.

Agree?
Disagree

The cans are the exact SAME thing. Only difference is the color of the can! Plus I'm not 100% sure but I think that'd be ROAR legal. The armatures are made by the same company, have the same tag on them and are made to function in the same can (with the exception of the physical color (green as opposed to silver)

Another issue: Chad says it was an old C2 arm, others say its a C1 arm. I personally believe Chad on this one.

19 Turn Motor Rules: The following 3 motors will be allowed:
Trinity Chameleon 2 (Part# TRIRC2122), Reedy Spec 19 Quad Mag (Part # ASC513), Orion Element 19 Turn (Part# ORI20022) All these motors are machine wound fixed timing motors.
These are the only motors that participants in the 19 Turn class will be allowed to run.

copied from IIC website simple when in black and white isnt it.

It would not be ROAR legal because Trinity does not currently sell a C2 with a hemi wrapped arm. If you order a Trinity TRIRC2122, you get a Chameleon 2 with a crosswrapped arm. To get the combo Chad used, you have to order the C2 hemi wrapped arm seperately.

I don't believe Chad knew he was cheating, but it turns out he was and the organizers took the proper steps to enforce the rules.

Blackkat;
here is your lesson for the day

#1 c1 arms have no comlock and were hemi wound

#2 early c2 arms had a comlock and were hemi wound

#3 now c2 arms have a comlock and are not hemi wound

#4 the motors that were run had no comlock

chad admits there was no com lock---he may not have intended to cheat but he did break the rules. 3 motors listed 3 part numbers, none of them included a c1 arm.
