Well, Hold on....
The first version of the C2 was hemi wound.....ROAR passed the rules for 19t, which said they all had to be crosswrapped. A crosswrapped motor's magnets will be in the can opposite of those of a hemi wound motor.
Trinity in response, changed the windings to be crosswrapped.....
The Reedy Quad is still Hemi wound....which allows the older Hemi wound C2 arms to be used....
Drivers were told either of the versions would be allowed.....however, trinity doesn't bring the older version of the can anymore, so to get a can, they need to use the crosswrapped can....there is no difference on the can itself. The arm is also the same, just the way its wound is different.
So to get the arm to rotate correctly, you need to wire the motor backwards (and no, it does not retard timing like some people think it does)......this was done at the Novak Race and the Carpet Nats ( I believe it was Bring yer Own motor)
The drivers did nothing wrong.....nothing they had not done before...
The issue here is the fact the older C1 arm was used (why, I don't know....its not faster), it may be the only arms they had available)....

Maybe it wasn't a C1 arm? Maybe it was an old C2 arm?

The "Full Fisherman" is my hero, Paul Ciccarello from Parma and good ol' Cleveland, OH. Last I heard, he was 2nd in 3rd in 1/12th mod so he's fishing quite nicely!

And how can you blame bobby or alex? Please show me one team driver who gets his motor from the team motor man and then takes it apart?......stupidest thing I have ever heard.
Chad probably made an assumption the motor would be OK.....the rules are pretty loose.....Chad doesn't cheat, just sounds like he made a mistake. There is no advantage in running a c1 arm in a c2 can....

Sorry Eddie, I used to think you were actually an intelligent guy. You are either an idiot or for some reason don't want people to think Trinity cheated. I'm really not sure why the 2nd option would apply, so I'll have to go with option 1.
To think that Trinity used the C1 arms because they were out of stock of C2's, or to think they just did it because they felt like it and saw no advantage is just ignorant. Do you expect us to believe any of that? Anyone who's used the old C1 knows they were all faster then any C2 and the arms were tweakable. Give me a break.
