Is the pit space based on your amount of entries or just per person? If someone is racing 3 classes do they get the same amount as a guy racing one class? Thanks.

Do you honestly think you will get three pit spaces for three classes?

Speaking of pit spaces, when will we be able to set up the equipment. Wed at 1:00 when practice starts at 2:00. Or will we be able to set up Tuesday when we arrive?

No, I was just wondering. I would hope you don't get 3 spaces for 3 classes but a little extra maybe 1.5 would be nice. I have never been to a race like this so just was thinking about it. Thanks for the help though.

Default Pit Spaces

The doors will be opened at 1:00pm (Vegas time) on Wednesday.
At that point you will be able to set up your pit area (1 spot per racer).

Practice starts at 2:00 and will continue for two rounds of practice on Wednesday.

The class order for practice is on the website: www.intchamps.com

Practice will be run by heats which will be posted next week on the above mentioned website.

honest math:
oz = g
28 = 793.7866474
51 = 1445.825679
53 = 1502.524725

Chances are your scale switches between grams/oz with no problems. If not, is it the 1952 Singer model with spring/strut plate suspension? Let's make a deal

troy ounces now! (only used for precious medals)
oz (troy) = g
28 = 870.8973
51 = 1586.277225
53 = 1648.484175

**You will be using the FIRST set of conversions** where its rounded off is up to Scotty and Jamie

(There goes all my gambling money ) Also with regards to tires, I'm assuming it's 4 sets per class, correct?
I'm strapped for cash for this event as well, I was depending on using a credit card, for tires and motors, I will have no money for Vegas activities if my cash is going toward this.

This is over a $1,000.00 doller race, yeah its all for fun, but man I need my cash.

6 nights of hotel $600
2 classes $200
2 extra stocks $50
8 sets of tires
for 2 classes say there 25$ =$200 more???

I have to eat for a week, I can charge most of that thank god
maybe 300-1000 for playing in vegas......< you kinda need cash for this

I was only going to bring 300 for this, now your taking 250 of it, maybe more out of my hands. please some help here............

Wait a second, Most people who visit hotels, even in Vegas bring an ice chest, with drinks and stuff, some chips etc. I have been to Vegas countless times and have never heard of them saying "I'm sorry you'll have to eat that outside"

what if I want PB & J sandwhiches all week, am I forced to only eat them in my Hotel room?

Some people are dependent on pringles and candy in the pits to get through a race.

I go to Vegas all the time as well, and it really depends on the hotel and what you're bringing in. I brought McDonalds and whatnot into the Stardust last time I was there and had no real problem, but that doesn't mean others won't. I think Scotty is just trying to let everybody know of some of the rules that are there, whether or not they are enforced is up to whoever is working the hotel at the time.

Compared to other hotel races (Snowbirds, Cleveland in particular) this is a 180-degree shift. When we do those other races we pretty much take over the hotel, but at the Stardust we'll still be a needle in the haystack. Even with 250+ bodies at the race, that's like what, 15% of the hotel capacity?

It is Las Vegas, I'm sure they have your bank around somewhere.

I don't think you get the point. I needed to pay for my tires next month if I was to use any money for gambling. Doesn't help to have a bank around when there's nothing in there to take out.
