There won't be any tabs unfortunately. There is just too much going on at an event of this size to keep track of tabs.

The shop will handle VISA, MC, AmEx, Discover, and cash. No checks, and sadly, no food stamps.

where else do you get the results like this? well at the new addition to the NashRCracer family www.RC50.com the new home for for Results Video and Pictures for all the big races like Cleveland, Snowbirds, the Nats and Vegas

Same great coverage easy to remember name!

car goes through tech before your race then it gets checked for weight, body height, motor, and spec tires . then is in impound until your race is up. If it leaves impound then it has to be reteched

Hi everyone. 14 days and counting. cant believe it is this close. Everything is looking good. Amp Draw hobbies will be onsite providing everything you could possible want or need. They will be having some awesome deals on all of the cools things you have always wanted to get, but your wife would not let you buy. :-)
For those of you running rubber tires, we will have a discounted price for the CS 27 and we will have plenty of them on hand. Don't forget, you will need to buy your tires at the event. Each driver will be allowed 4 sets to have teched for racing. For practice, you can use as many as you would like.
The schedule and daily plan is posted on the web site.
We will have registration open on Tuesday afternoon. This will be the time when you can pick up your stock motors as well as your goodie bags We will also have registration open on Wed. Tires will be sold by us, not in the hobbyshop. All tire sales will be cash only.

Now just a few reminders.
Many of us have been to other hotel races, This race is not like the others. This is Las Vegas. the hotel we are "GUESTS OF" is very nice. They will not tolerate any tire truing in the hotel rooms. Painting of bodies. using hotel towels for pit rags. They will charge and charge you big if you mess up the rooms or use the towels.
We will have a large area sectioned off for tire truing and body painting. so you will not need to do it in your room.
We will have 2 buffets provided as part of your registration. One will be a breakfast on Thursday and we will have a lunch on Friday. Their will also be a food court set up selling hot dogs, sandwiches and drinks throughout the event. The Stardust has different restaurants on the property so you will have many choices for food. The Stardust and all other union based hotels in Las Vegas do not allow any carry in of food or drinks at all anywhere on their property.

Next: Alcohol. The race will be held in the Ballroom of the hotel. about a 30 second walk from the casino. Yes you will have plenty of time between your heats to go out and enjoy the hotel. But everyone needs to be responsible. There will be no alcohol allowed in the Ballroom Race track area. And anyone who has had to much to drink will not be allowed to race for the remainder of the day. As long as everyone is responsible, we will have no problems at all.
Anyone caught with alcohol in their pit or anywhere else in the Ballroom, will not be allowed to race for the rest of the event. Like I said, as long as everyone is responsible, It will not be a problem.

I just wanted to get this out there for everyone to understand. You all know somebody will be a bonehead and make a situation that we will have to deal with, but I guess I can hope it won't happen.

POKER TOURNAMENT- Unfortunatly we did not get enough participants signed up and we will have to cancel it. I am still going to try and get something worked out in the poker room at the Stardust and maybe we can have some sort of game with our group.

TANDMAN: I am going to work out the conversion to grams and post that also.
DMAYHEW25: Howard got it right. That is how it goes. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask away.

The ballroom has wireless internet. Make sure you bring your laptop. We are working to have some real cool things for you guys. I am still working to negotiate a deal on the daily charge for our racers, but make sure you bring them.
That is about it for now. As always if you have any questions, just let us know.
Cya in 14 days.

Hey Scotty, as is everyone else I'm pretty excited about coming down there and am really looking forward to it. I have a question about the tires, can you post how much they will be a set since you said it will be a cash only thing? I don't plan on having much cash on me and want to plan on what I will need that requires it.

I ordered my laptop the other week and am really hoping it gets to me on time!! I may just have to call and see if I can expedite the delivery!!

I am currently painting some bodies up for the event but they are deffinitely going to be 20's!! You know, looks good at 20 feet or more but not close up!!

Scotty, I'm a little concerned about the tires being cash only. I know this may make things very difficult for some ( I know it does for me ) I was only planning on needing cash for the tables and using a credit card for everything else. Like Yeti said, I need to know how much a set of tires will be so I know how much cash to have. (There goes all my gambling money ) Also with regards to tires, I'm assuming it's 4 sets per class, correct?
