Default Rubber control tire

If Scotty runs the Vegas race similar to Novak it is a handout rubber tire. CS27. He gives 4 tires and they are marked as a set and are teched. So there is a level field as far as tires go and this year it was a handout traction compound as well. You can buy additional sets for the mains I think it was 2.

That way not trying every insert tire combo under the sun.

I like foam better than rubber.

Scotty (aka TRACKSIDE),
Hope u wl be here in Cebu with some of ur racers. The schedule is April 16-Nitro Race and April 17-EP Mod and stock 23T. As usual, we are running rubber tires. EP racers from Manila and Bacolod are confirmed joining the race. The Iloilo guys about 12 of them are confirmed running the GP. Sad to say that majoirity of the Cebu racers are running EP. Only a handful are running GP now.

I think Scotty is really trying to pull all the TC markets into this race. He wants this to be the biggest and best TC race. Another thing this will eliminate pro drivers racing 19T. They can race mod like they are suppose to. Its the first year for the race. Give it a try and see how it goes. Maybe Masami will come to a indoor race in the USA now that it has a rubber tire class. It would be cool to see who would be the best overall Pro driver to do his best in the both classes.

You know we have the best of both worlds up here and the only reason why I'm running foam now is to run mod. I started the season running rubber 19 and went to mod foam to keep the skills up and run some ponies. I would much rather run rubber and save some money. I've gone through some foams already and I came in mid season. You plan on going to this race??????? It should be fun.

Don't start that "it's cheaper to run rubber than foam" we know it's true, but you can't win that argument.

Yeah, I'm planning on it. Just don't know what class to run yet, that's all.

The Foam vs Rubber thing reminds me of the bud light commercials.

We all drink the same beer but like it for different reasons. Taste great, less filling.

Rubber for those who want it, foam for those who want it. The idea is for a fun race, not an all foam 24/7 event.

I do agree, however, with the CS27 control tire idea. Hopefully, Scotty will agree as well (and I'll give him my 2 cents personally on Tuesday!)

Hi Folks

It is all very interesting to read about what european may do if they were to attend this meeting. If you want a true international event you need to promote it around the world well in advance.

To day is the 1st time i have heard of this event. Is it going to be a truely internation event like the Ifmar or Ready races or is the title just wishful thinking.

The langley model car club will be holding an international event of Friday 1st April. We recommend schumacher carpet dragons as the tire. Foams are allowed, but additives cannot be used as we meet and racing in a school.
