How many nights do I have to stay at the hotel to be able to race? I have free hotel rooms in Vegas elsewhere.

Like P-Dub said just be happy that Scotty is starting this event and offering both types of classes. Gives everyone in the WORLD a chance to race what they are used to racing!!

...I love rubber tires!!! ...I'm only looking to find out what the spec tire is so I can start working with setups on my cars with that particular tire (all I ever use is Sorex's otherwise, both on asphalt and carpet).

Sorry didn't mean any disrespect to Scotty at all. Was just a comment about another thread, I should not have brought it here.

This race that Scotty is doing is awesome for this sport/hobby and I am thankful that someone has stepped up to do the hard work that is needed to pull something like this off.

I enjoy racing on rubber tires just as much as foam tires, both are fun.

Where in CO are you? I can make LV from SLC in 5 1/2 hours. I can't imagine it would take you that much longer unless you are in Denver. It is closer time wise for me to drive to LV then it is to drive to Denver.

Takes me 8 hours to drive to Aurora, so I guess you are right it is a long azz drive for you. SLC is Salt Lake City, in case you did not know. I assume you race at MHOR then?

I used to drive that stretch all the time, I-70 from Denver to Vegas. It takes about 4 hours to get to the Utah border, another 2.5 to get to I-15, and then maybe 4 more to get to Vegas... so probably about 11 hours from Denver to Vegas. It's a pretty scenic drive though.
