Mike,

This is the part I'm confused on.....

Single compound 'C1' - Purple (45), Magenta (40).

Single compound 'C2' - Black (45), Grey (40).

Dual compound - Red/Magenta (55/40), Black/Grey (45/40).

By looking at the shore, Black and Purple are the same, Magenta and Grey are the same, so what's the difference?

I might just ahve to get a set of Red/Mag and Mag, a set of Blk/Grey and Grey to test it out.

The black and grey compound feel different. They are a different type of foam and dont get as grabby as the run goes on from what I understand.

Turtlemaster,

61mm rear and 60mm front, Thats if its a big or important race.

But for club races, I'll run them straight out of the box. Untill the Main. lol

Hope this helps,

thanks, had a little problem with the front end oversteering and "hooking" coming into corners, way to much steering, and this was on cold pavement with med traction. i didn't cut the tires down and thought maybe the sidewalls were rolling over.

I was just noticing that on th GQ website that have a larger selection of compounds available than on the Competition RC. On the GQ site they have pink, tan, cream, white, red/purples. Are these compounds going to be available through Competition RC as well?

At present GQ doesn't stock carpet tires in those hardness in the US because lack of demand. But when the demand grows, Competition RC will bring them in.

If so what would you recomend for tires? I was going to order nitro rears in 35, 37, and 40. Thanks in advance for the help and a BIG THANKS, again, to Joseph and GQ! Ray

Welcome to the team
You are on track on your order I have the same stock My car is set up for 37's but with different tracks & conditions of the pavement I got the other shores to be able to adapt to different track conditions.

Thanks! I got this idea from a Kevin Kane (Hurricane). He ran it last year and said it offered great wear and grip. Ray
